In this assignment, you should pretend you are the CEO of Cyster Systems. You have received news that several employees have made anti-LGBTQIA comments and/or stereotyping as noted in the previous case studies, and you decide this needs to be addressed.
You will compose a memo to your employee colleagues outlining three specific ways (with data points) that LGBTQIA employees can be/have been discriminated against in the workplace, and four specific practices your company will undertake to ensure that LGBTQIA employees feel recognized and included in all company activities and in the company environment, in general.
Each of the three examples should be explained and supported using a data point (statistic) or other reference to the course lectures. Each of the four strategies should also reflect the lecture text about ways to make workplaces more inclusive.
The lectures this week introduce many new terms. For additional information about some of these key terms, please review the Gender Inclusive Language Guidelines. Note that some terms will only be defined in the lectures.
